Events for Teens
An Inkster Family Literacy Movement representative will be hosting a playgroup for children 5 and under every Monday from 10:30am-12pm! Come enjoy some open play, hear a story and get a snack!
LEGO NIGHTS! Kids can come to the library every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-5:30pm and develop their mechanical engineering skills by building! For kids 10 and under, some LEGO duplos and blocks will be made available for younger children.
Storytime for kids 10 and under will be held every Tuesday from 5:30-6:30
Children ages 8 to 12 are invited to join us for the Pizza Reading Robots. This reading club for kids will take place every third Wednesday of the month. The next meeting is on Wednesday, June 17th at 6:00pm.

Join us for Game Night! It'll be lots of fun for everyone with a variety of board games and card games. Thursday June 11th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm
Father's Day is approaching fast! Join us for some family fun in celebrating Fathers's Day Saturday, June 20th, 2015 at 12:00 pm.
We will be showing the movie "Annie" and making Father's Day cards after the movie!
JOIN US FOR THE 2015 SUMMER READING KICKOFF
TUESDAY, JUNE 23RD 2015 FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M. !!! There will be fun for the whole family with Animals, Music, Face Paint, Twisty Animal Balloons, and Summer Reading Sign-Up. Featuring a PETTING ZOO including animals such as an alpaca, bunnies, chickens, ducks, goats,a mini horse, a mini donkey, a pot-bellied pig, and sheep.

Knitting and Crocheting is FUN. Come learn how at the Inkster Public Library Monday, May 18th at 6:00 pm!
The adult Book Club will be Tuesday, June 9th at 6:30 pm. We will be discussing the book "The Girls of Murder" by Douglas Perry.
The GED Exams are now taken online only in Michigan Come take online practice tests and assess your skills in reading, writing, and math at the GED Skills Workshop. It will be held at 5:30pm on Wednesday May 13th, Wednesday May 20th, Wednesday June 3rd,and Wednesday June 10th. Participants must be able to go to the program on all four dates.
