Special Events


Summer Reading Kick-Off will take place on Thursday, June 26th at 2:00pm! There will be a reptile show put on by R.E.P.T.I.L.E. Inc., in honor of this year's science theme "Fizz, Boom, Read!" Come get your summer reading log to earn prizes throughout the summer.

Events for Kids


LEGO NIGHTS! Kids can come to the library EVERY Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00-5:00pm and develop their mechanical engineering skills by building! For kids 10 and under, some LEGO duplos and blocks will be made available for younger children.

Crafty Storytime for Kids 10 and Under, EVERY TUESDAY from 5-6:00pm or THURSDAY from 6-7:00pm (There will be no crafty storytime every 3rd Thursday of the month when Library Board meetings are scheduled)

Stay and Play with Starfish for Kids 5 and Under, EVERY Monday from 10:30am-12pm


Events for Teens


The Teen Book Club will meet on Saturday, April 26th at 2:00pm to discuss the book "Class of '89" and get next month's book Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry


Events for The Family

Events for Adults


NEW! Knitting and Crochet Group will start on Wednesday, April 23rd at 6:00pm. Bring your own needles and supplies, there will be someone there to teach you how!

Adult Computer Classes will now be offered at the library! Join us on Wednesday, April 16th for "Computer Basics" and Wednesday, April 30th from 1-3:00pm for "Internet Basics"

There is now a book club for adults! The next meeting will be Tuesday, May 13th at 6:15pm where we will discuss the book This Perfect Day by: Ira Levin. Copies now available at the library, ask for a copy to take home at the front desk.

Coffee Hour with the State Representative and County Commissioner, EVERY First Monday of the month at 12:30pm, except in September when it will be held the 2nd Monday of the month, September 8th

Library Board Meetings Every Third Thursday of the month at 4:00pm
