Welcome to the Leanna Hicks Public Library of Inkster Website
One of the first round libraries, the Leanna Hicks Public Library of Inkster was dedicated September24, 1960 by New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller (future 41st Vice-President of the United States). Located on a hill overlooking a forest and river, its floor-to-ceiling glass walls are just one of the reasons why architect Kael Nelson considered this beautiful building his greatest work.
The Leanna Hicks Public Library of Inkster became a City of Inkster Public Library on July 1, 2010. Leanna Hicks Public Library of Inkster is a member of The Library Network.
